Precision Tinting

What is precision tinting?

Precision tinting is carried out using a hybrid tinting system. A hybrid tint uses the method of regular eyebrow tints, but with the longevity and skin staining benefits of Henna Brows. Extra long-lasting tone is retained on the skin up to 2 weeks, and up to 7 weeks on hairs. It’s the only tint of its kind in the market giving you the same long lasting effect as Henna. By carefully applying the precision tint to the eyebrow we can create a soft shadow behind the eyebrow hair. This ensures we achieve sharp lines and create a beautiful ombre effect.

Who is it for?

Precision tinting is for anyone that wants more of a light makeup look, but without the makeup. It’s great for filling in any gaps in the eyebrow and giving an overall fuller look due to the shadow behind the hairs. Or for clients that are growing their eyebrow in.

What does the precision tinting process involve?

1. The treatment begins with a consultation to find the right shape and style for your face
2. Your brow shape is mapped out using makeup pencil and thread
3. A white paste is applied all around this shape to keep those super-crisp lines
4. The precision tint is applied and layered until thee desired result is reached. Less intensity is applied at the beginning of the brow, and more strength at the arch and tail for an ombré effect
5. Your eyebrows are shaped to remove any unwanted hairs
6. Makeup is applied around the eyebrows to completely finish the look

The whole process takes around 1 hour and lasts up to 6–8 weeks on the hair, and up to 2 weeks on the skin. A patch test is required at least 48 hours before the initial procedure.

How long does precision tinting last?

The hair tinting received from a precision brow tint lasts 4–6 weeks. The skin staining lasts anywhere from 1–2 weeks. If you have a drier complexion, precision tint skin staining tends to last a bit longer than it would on someone with an oilier complexion.
